Having a big family means many challenges when it comes to keeping our home spic and span and especially keeping up to date with laundry. With 2 teenage boys and 3 children under the age of 3, my laundry pile is an ever growing nightmare! Plus Zaeem is potty training, so there an extra addition to the laundry pile from potty training mistakes AND my twins are forever crawling and butt sliding, so there's always double dirty baby items on a daily.
For me, laundry is completely overwhelming. So much so that I procrastinate and it takes me ages to even start.
We have been blessed in Cape Town this winter with some lovely rain, which meant are dams are full but it has also meant that laundry couldn’t dry naturally in the sunlight. And piling up of wet laundry creates that awful smell that we all detest!
Even though we have a tumble dryer, I only use it for emergencies, I mean surely having the tumble dryer going throughout winter cannot be good for the environment (or the electricity bill).

How does it work?
So, after you have completed your normal wash cycle (wash, rinse, spin), you load the Spindel with the laundry that has come straight out of the washing machine and put the Spindel air dryer on for 3 minutes. Place a bowl under the spout to catch the water.
After 3 minutes, simply swich off the machine, remove the laundry and hang them out to dry Your laundry will be dry in a fraction of the time.
Sure its another step in your laundry process, but it literally saves you time on the overall laundry burden. Which means more time to do other things.
The Spindel uses no heat and compared to a tumble dry which spins 600-800RPM, the Spindel spins up to 2800 RPM using centrifugal force and eliminates excess water from your laundry. It uses 100% less electrcirity than a tumble dryer.
