Cutting that first tooth is a big event in your baby’s life, but it can get really uncomfortable.
With twins it’s double the blessings, but also double the pain and double the fever when it comes to teething.
There’s nothing more heart-breaking than seeing your baby struggle in pain with no timeframe as to when the first tooth will actually make its appearance.
The start of teething development could occur as early as 2 months all the way up to a year, but most babies start to teethe between 4-7 months old.
BITING
The initial signs my twins showed was the excessive drooling and the incessant biting. Biting of their dummies, biting during feeds, biting their fingers and toes, and even biting each other!
All this biting, but still they didn’t look satisfied at all; their facial expressions showed utter frustration.

Ishmail specifically loves the soft green silicon which makes his gums squeak when he bites it really hard and Ibrahim is a fan of the harder, red plastic part with raised surface.
They both absolutely love the colourful fabric which crinkles with their touch, this part also soaks up all the drool.
For added relief on fussier days, I freeze the teething ring which helps to numb the gums almost instantly.
